Redskins LB Gets News A-Twitter

After the fans booed the Redskins off the field in their 9-7 victory over San Diego, one Washington Redskins player took exception to the negative reaction and criticized the fans on his Twitter account.

What a mistake that turned out to be.

The rookie linebacker, Robert Henson (who hasn’t played in a regular season game yet), posted the following to his Twitter account:

“All you fake half hearted Skins fan can .. I won’t go there but I dislike you very strongly, don’t come to Fed Ex to boo dim wits!!”

He went on to ask how the fans could criticize the offense when they worked 9 to 5 at McDonalds.

But fans and the media spoke out even more vociferously against the verbose LB, causing him to close his Twitter account on Tuesday. Consider this a lesson learned about social media for the rookie.
